I wrote this back in 2020 about the horrific bushfires in Australia that year. I lived there for a while and watching it burn so badly broke my heart, and sparked such an angry fire in me that I wrote this very quickly, out of pure contempt for the Australian government and my feelings of helplessness about climate change in general. I sold digital copies of it to raise money for wildlife aid, and we ended up donating a few hundred dollars to WIRES, an Australian wildlife rescue, if my memory serves correct.
